Who We Are

Denver Shrooms is not a corporation, it’s a community, where patients can connect with mycologists, the farmers and custodians of these sacred medicines. Patients can gain direct and safe access to now decriminalized medicine in the time of a global pandemic and an unprecedented mental health crisis facing our community. Denver Psychedelic Community has existed for decades, however without a hippie cousin or friend in the know, many Denver residents have no way of accessing or obtaining this now decriminalized medicine. Growing your own medicine is simply not a possibility for some due to their health, or housing situation, lease restrictions or other factors. This means they must get their medicine from someplace else. Many people are unable to drive and without delivery may not have a way to get their medicine. Denver Shrooms was founded as a non-profit by Aurora, an Denver resident, single mother of two and a survivor of domestic abuse, who began farming mushrooms to treat her own PTSD and to help others with PTSD such as the Denver military veteran community. She began teaching herself the best known practices she was able to publicly research until the psychedelic community began organizing in Denver and began actively networking and pursuing decriminalization. She met other like minded farmers, mycologists and healers who passed on generations of knowledge and secrets to patients in need. She recognized a need to connect qualified farmers with people in need and started arborshrooms.com as a service which now benefiting many in the Denver community.
